Opportunity for Work Experience

The Shop has been at the heart of the Bromsberrow Community for the last ten years, following the closure of the previous village shop.  We are looking to further develop our services to the community and to do so we need to increase our volunteers.  By doing this we offer experience to youths who need to obtain experience of interacting with customers and providing a service.  We can offer experience in:

 

• Sales and customer interaction

• Operating an EPOS system

• ShopMate system and shop management

• Serving in the Snug

• Stock management and shop layout

 

The opportunities are flexible and can be designed to provide the desired experience and training will be provided. There will be the opportunity to gain a Food Safety & Hygiene for Catering Certificate (C&G level 2) – this valuable experience will help you gain expertise and efficiency that will be attractive to prospective employers.  This experience can also be used towards your DoE qualification. and references will be provided to support your future career.
